Privacy Policy

Your financial data deserves clear boundaries.

This policy explains how Finova handles profile, transaction, and notification data used inside the app.

1. Data We Collect

Finova may collect information you provide while using the app, including your name, email address, phone number, profile image URL, income records, expense records, categories, notes, dates, and notifications.

Authentication information is managed through Firebase Authentication. App data is stored in Firebase Cloud Firestore using user-specific IDs.

2. How We Use Data

We use app data to provide core Finova features, including:

  • Showing your total balance, income, expenses, and savings rate.
  • Displaying recent transactions and spending categories.
  • Managing profile details and notification read status.
  • Improving app reliability, safety, and user experience.

3. Storage and Security

Finova uses Firebase services to store and protect user data. Firestore security rules are designed so users can access only their own profile, transactions, and notifications.

No method of digital storage is perfectly risk-free, but we use reasonable technical safeguards and access controls to reduce risk.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal finance data. Data may be processed by service providers such as Firebase only for app infrastructure, authentication, storage, and maintenance purposes.

5. Your Choices

You can update your profile inside the app. You can also request account deletion from the Delete Account page. Deletion requests may include removing profile data, transactions, and notifications associated with your Firebase user account.
